Dennis F. Marco Recognized by American Diabetes Association

June 27, 2008, TRENTON NJ — Dennis F. Marco, Executive Vice President of Porzio Governmental Affairs, LLC, received an award from the American Diabetes Association at a Gala affair aboard a yacht tour in New York harbor last night. Also honored were Robert Garrett, Executive Vice President and COO of Hackensack University Medical Center; Christy Bell, Senior Vice President, Healthcare Management, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey; and Somerset County Sheriff Frank J. Provenzano.

The goal of the ADA event was to raise funds to help fight diabetes in African-American, Hispanic, Latino and other ethnic communities that are disproportionately affected by diabetes. Approximately 240 people attended.

Mr. Marco has been instrumental in assisting the New Jersey ADA with its annual Address to the Business Community event and providing support and guidance to the organization and its leadership.

Mr. Marco is also a member of the national board of the Leukemia and Lymphona Society, an organization in which he has been active for more than 10 years.
