August 27, 2007 — Dennis F. Marco was sworn in last Wednesday as a Commissioner of the Passaic County Improvement Authority. “We are lucky to have someone with such vast experience on board and he brings another point of view to the Authority” said Chairman DiIanni. Currently, a lobbyist with Porzio Governmental Affairs, Marco brings to the board a wealth of experience in government affairs. Career highlights include, Special Assistant, U.S. Senator Bill Bradley; Deputy Commissioner, NJ Department of Commerce and Economic Development; Vice President of External Affairs and Corporate Communications, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. He earned his master’s degree in urban affairs and policy analysis from the New School for Social Research and his bachelor’s degree in political science from William Paterson University. Marco, a North Haledon resident, joins Chairman Pasquale DiIanni and Commissioners Arnold Speert, Wayne Alston and Abed Awad.
